St. John's Catholic School in Westminster, Maryland
I was trying to go back in my memory to see if I can recall everyone in my 7th & 8th grade class recently. I know there were 32-36 or something...not many as it was such a small school. Anyway, will add more people as I think of them. If you find your name here at some point (or don't) I apologize if I forgot your name or spelling or whatever.

Don Imus, Al Sharpton- The Media Needs To Shut Up!
As you can see, I haven't really posted anything for awhile but this "story" is giving me a fucking headache. Sorry but that is how bad my headache is. I thought it was my sinuses but it is hearing the same story over the AP newswire, ABC, NBC, CBS, Fox, CNN, local news, radio, newspaper, magazine. SHUT THE HELL UP. This is not a story.
He said something very stupid. He was talking about people he doesn't know and tried to make a joke. Do you know how many racist/sexist/inappropriate remarks are made by these guys every day? Tons. If we were to track all and publish them, Al Sharpton would LOVE IT!
Al Sharpton wants his own complex where he can have 3 entire floors devoted to tracking these white people who are constantly attacking the black community. Another floor would be devoted to his entourage (offices, dorms). The roof could be where he holds the news media frenzies where he has people stand with a mic and announce to the entire city and world, shouting from the rooftops that they apologize for being Nazis. After they are done publicly humiliating themselves they can either be ridiculed for being a Nazi or jump from the roof. Al would remind them they may as well jump because it is his sole mission in life to destroy careers. If he didn't do this, Al would be playing golf in Florida right now.
Again, what Don said was wrong and it would be whatever network he's on sole discretion to suspend him - but drop him? Don't even get me started with the radical NAACP.
If you read about my anger with Bill Maher about his Down Syndrome comments, you'll note that he was exploiting a horrible stereotype about individuals with DS. What is the difference then? Bill attacked people with DS for a jab at the President. In Don's case he made a bad joke which had some racial connotations. He should be smacked, but give the guy a break. Yes he's said shit in the past - but take a look at your history or your friend's history. You've said some stupid shit too!

SNL Mocks Down Syndrome
I wanted to share a recent e-mail I sent to NBC/SNL:
On Saturday, February 24th I was watching Saturday Night Live with my wife awhile after we put our kids to bed. We were relaxing and hoping to be refreshed by some humor. The skit came on with the four guys at the table in the bar/restaurant. One of the characters out of the blue commented about how his father has Down Syndrome (there was a sigh of pity).
I felt a wretch in my stomach when I heard this. The audience on cue laughed though it seemed to die off quickly.
My oldest son upstairs sleeping has Down Syndrome. I'm so glad he wasn't older and awake with me watching SNL. I'm sure he would ask "Why are they laughing?" I would have to explain to him that the producers and actors on SNL thought it would be funny to have people picture the character's father as the stereotypical retarded, slow and limited person.
Congratulations on your new level of LOW.
I hope you are able to restrain yourself and not begin having a weekly character with autism run circles around the room. I hope you don't have a skit laughing about a girl that has one breast because of cancer.
There are certain things you don't tread on. Your show is already limited in its ability to attract a steady audience. You are on a downward spiral.
